The Virtual To Virtual serial port product allows
pairs of serial ports to be connected. Data written to one Virtual
Serial Port (TX Data) may be immediatly read from the other
Virtual Serial Port as receive data (RX Data), and visa versa.
Similarly modem control lines (such as RTS/CTS, DSR/DTR, etc)
are also cross connected between the two serial port devices.
If you are familiar with a simple cabling network known as
a "Null Modem" device, you will recognize that Virtual
To Virtual acts as a Virtual Null Modem device. Source
code for this component is also available in the VSP
The Virtual Serial Port Software is a completely functional product which
is provided for evaluation purposes. After about 6 hours of
use, a nag screen appears requiring the user to take action
to restore the functionality of the VSP for another 6 hour period.
